Acceptable Use Policy
What you may and may not do with our voice, messaging, and data services — and how we enforce it.
Effective July 20, 2026
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all Pro Comms services, including wireless, landline, toll-free, VoIP, messaging, and IoT data connectivity. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited conduct
You may not use our services to:
- Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation.
- Place unlawful telemarketing calls, or otherwise violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or FCC robocall rules.
- Transmit unsolicited commercial messages, or violate CTIA messaging guidelines or 10DLC registration requirements.
- Spoof, falsify, or misrepresent calling party number or caller identity in violation of the Truth in Caller ID Act.
- Harass, threaten, defraud, or defame any person.
- Distribute malware, conduct unauthorized network scanning, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system.
- Interfere with the operation of our network or any other network, including through denial-of-service traffic.
- Resell service to third parties without a written wholesale agreement.
3. Fair use of unlimited plans
Plans described as unlimited are intended for normal business use by the person or device assigned to the line. They are not intended for continuous automated dialing, bulk call generation, permanent tethering as a primary site internet connection, or resale.
We may apply reasonable network management, including deprioritization during congestion, to preserve service quality for all customers.
4. IoT and machine-to-machine use
IoT data SIMs are provisioned for machine-to-machine communication. They may not be used in handsets for human voice or general internet browsing, and may not be moved between accounts without notice to us.
You are responsible for securing your devices. We may suspend a SIM that generates traffic patterns consistent with compromise, abuse, or a runaway process, and we will notify you when we do.
5. Toll-free traffic
Toll-free numbers may not be used for traffic pumping, access stimulation, or any scheme designed to generate artificial inbound minutes. Such use is grounds for immediate suspension.
6. Emergency services
You may not use our services to place false or prank calls to 911 or any emergency service. You must maintain an accurate registered service address for each line capable of placing emergency calls.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate service, with or without prior notice depending on severity, to protect the network, our customers, or to comply with law.
Where practical, we will contact you before taking action and give you an opportunity to correct the issue.
8. Reporting abuse
Report suspected abuse of our network to support@pro-comms.us. Include the numbers involved, timestamps, and a description of the activity.
